At the CIFF Guangzhou Phase one Home
Furniture, exhibitors and overseas pavilions from countries and regions such as
Italy, the United States, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, Turkey, Malaysia
and India will participate in the International Pavilion. In this issue, we
will present the growth stories of the Turkey and Malaysia BRI Pavilions at the
CIFF Guangzhou.
Turkey boasts over 45,000 furniture
manufacturers exporting to 213 countries worldwide, occupying a significant
position in the global home furnishing market. The Turkish Pavilion, which has
participated for 15 consecutive years, has deep ties with the International
Pavilion and has grown substantially at CIFF Guangzhou.
Mr. Ahmet Güleç, Vice Chairman of the Türkiye Exporters
Assembly(TİM) and chairman of the
board Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), notes that this has played an
important role in connecting Turkey and China commercially and culturally,
bringing more development opportunities to Turkey’s home furnishing industry. This
year, the Turkish Pavilion will feature 15 companies exhibiting in Hall 8.1 at
the Home Furniture International Pavilion.
At CIFF Guangzhou, the Turkish Pavilion
will present solutions combining innovation, aesthetics, and sustainability
aimed enhancing comfort in living spaces, such as flexible, customizable modern
modular furniture. The featured products embody both local characteristics and
international vision, creating minimalist yet refined living spaces for global
consumers, reflecting the innovative spirit of Turkey’s home furnishing
industry.
Similarly, as a member of CIFF Guangzhou’s
overseas network, the collaboration between the Malaysian Pavilion and CIFF
Guangzhou can be traced back to 2006. Starting from a small booth of only 300
square meters, the pavilion has gradually occupied an area of 5,000 square
meters. This figure not only witnesses the growth footprints of Malaysian
enterprises on the CIFF platform but also reflects the increasingly prominent
performance of the Malaysian home furnishing industry on the global stage.
Malaysia is a crucial partner in jointly
building the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). In 2024, China and Malaysia
celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The
BRI has greatly expanded trade channels and opportunities, introducing new
clients and collaborators to the Malaysian home furnishing industry and
significantly raising its global profile. At this year’s Home Furniture
International Pavilion, the Malaysian Pavilion along with 18 Malaysian
enterprises will showcase their products in Hall 6.1-8.1.
The Malaysian Pavilion at CIFF Guangzhou
showcases a wide range of products that perfectly blend heritage craftsmanship
and modern design. Chinese consumers have fallen in love with Malaysia’s wooden and rattan
furniture collections, appreciating their one-of-a-kind aesthetics,
environmental friendliness, and cultural authenticity.
This year, The Malaysian Pavilion is
rolling out next-generation smart home innovations that push the envelope on
the technology while staying true to sustainability principles- delivering home
solutions that are not just smarter, but also more intuitive and comfortable.
Participating in CIFF Guangzhou enables
Malaysian companies to deepen their understanding of global trends and launch
high-quality products that resonate with the market. With the growing consumer
demand for eco-friendly and smart home solutions, Malaysian home furnishing
enterprises have invested heavily and continuously in research and development.
Their focus is to create products with environmentally friendly features and
smart capabilities that cater to the diverse and individualized needs of
consumers worldwide.
From the initial trial participation to
today's in-depth cooperation, the Turkish and Malaysian Pavilions on the stage
of CIFF Guangzhou have witnessed the win-win outcomes under the Belt and Road
Initiative. The exhibition booths have expanded in size, and the exhibits have
diversified in variety. Every handshake and communication at the exhibition
epitomizes trust and friendship. This is not only a grand business feast but
also a witness to cultural integration and spiritual resonance. In the future,
this friendship and cooperation will continue to write new chapters.
ClFF Guangzhou has always embraced a global
perspective, crafting a professional, international, and diversified exhibition
experience. It has been leading the development trend of the home furnishing
industry, bolstering the value of global home furnishing trade. By continuously
connecting with more countries that actively participate in and support the
Belt and Road Initiative, it will broaden its international network and
continues to compose a richer and more splendid growth narrative.
