On September 22, CIFF Guangzhou held Jakarta promotion event in Indonesia. Nearly a hundred attendees from local furniture industry associations including Indonesian Furniture and Craft Industry Association (HIMKI), furniture purchasing agents, furniture companies, media, etc. discussed topics on the development of global home furnishing market.

At the promotion event, Abdul Sobur, President of HIMKI, noted that China is Indonesia’s most important trading partner. With the rapid growth of Indonesia’s economy, an increasing number of Chinese furniture companies have started business in Indonesia, which has promoted the prosperity of local furniture industry. As one of the largest furniture exhibitions in China, CIFF is an excellent platform for boosting furniture industry in both countries. Abdul thanked CIFF promotion team for visiting Jakarta and invited in-depth discussions and exchanges between both sides. He mentioned HIMKI will invite local furniture buyers to join InterBiz Club.

Then Liu Jun, marketing manager of CIFF Guangzhou, introduced CIFF Guangzhou to the audience. As an international trade fair organized by an institution directly under China’s Ministry of Commerce, CIFF Guangzhou has been committed to the opening up of China’s furniture industry and global furniture trade.
