STARWAY: Crafting Comfortable "Seating Spaces"
Founded in 1989, Starway Furniture has evolved
into a modern enterprise integrating research, design, manufacturing, and
sales, with product lines spanning plastic, wooden, and upholstered furniture.
Throughout its 30-year journey in the
furniture industry, Starway has transformed from a small factory producing
office chair casters into an international enterprise. For over three decades, Starway
has maintained its philosophy of “creating sitting spaces rather than mere
chairs”, consistently pushing the boundaries of seating design through
innovative styles, material selection, and manufacturing techniques to deliver
superior comfort to users.
Starting in 1989 with a focus on office
chair casters, Starway recognized the limitations of a single-product strategy.
In 1991, the company successfully pivoted to producing office chairs using
leather and foam materials. This first transformation proved highly successful,
with Starway office chairs becoming an internationally recognized furniture
brand.
Since 2009, Starway has recruited renowned
designers from Spain, Italy, Malaysia, and China Taiwan as design directors and
consultants. The company also collaborates with prestigious institutions like China
Academy of Art and Central Academy of Fine Arts to nature its house design
team.
In
2010, Chairman Genlin Ye personality designed the Patchwork Chair, featuring a
distinctive fabric patchwork design that has become an industry classic and
continues to be poplar, with monthly production reaching 100,000 units.
