Established in 1995, Yaodonghua Group specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, and distribution of interior decorative and furniture panels. Rising global demand for eco-friendly, high-quality panels led Yaodonghua to recognize that domestic markets alone couldn’t fully utilize its technical and production capabilities. Export became a vital pathway for market extension, brand recognition enhancement, and technical advancement.

The company took a significant turn in 2005 when exposure to European manufactured synchronized wood grain flooring at an international exhibition, which sparked Yaodonghua to innovate in furniture panel applications. To successfully enter international markets, Yaodonghua increased R&D investment, and participated in the formulation and revision of more than 40 national and industry standards. It cooperated with an Italian design team to develop the new brand ARMONIE, continuously enhancing its influence on a global scale. “Kapok” has become one of the most recognized high-end panel brands in the international market.

The company collaborates with Italian designers to launch over 30 new decorative panel series annually. This commitment to original design has yielded more than 40 patents, earning recognition as a “Guangdong Intellectual Property Model Enterprise” in 2020.

Taken its flagship product as an example, Synchronous Grain series showcases technical precision with ±1MM positioning accuracy, utilizing advanced imaging and computer processing technologies. These panels offer superior resistance to wear, scratches, stains, cigarette burns, and UV exposure, while authentically replicating natural wood, stone, leather, and fabric textures.

Today, Yaodonghua operates seven production bases across China with 300,000 square meters of workshop space, ensuring highly efficient production and consistently quality output.

The company has been proactively advancing digital transformation. As early as 2013, Yaodonghua introduced China’s first German Wemhöner double-sided synchronized wood grain automatic laminating production line, leading to multiple advanced automated production lines nationwide that rival world-renowned brands.

In 2018, the company launched the industry’s first smart manufacturing factory, designated as a Guangdong Province Smart Manufacturing Pilot Project. This facility incorporates advanced intelligent manufacturing systems, automating processes from order processing through warehousing.

In 2024, Yaodonghua invested 350 million RMB in a new technology industrial park spanning 38-arce, aiming to establish a global leading high-end customization center and smart home supply chain platform. By integrating upstream and downstream industry resources, this initiative drives innovation in smart home furnishing while enhancing market competitiveness.

Environmental responsibility drives Yaodonghua’s operations. The company holds FSC certification since 2014 and PEFC Chain of Custody certification since 2018. Regular ISO quality certification ensures products meet both Chinese and international green, environmental, and safety standards.Their products meet Japan’s stringent F4-star standard for formaldehyde emissions, representing the highest level of environmental safety.

In 2023, Yaodonghua signed the “Green Furniture Sustainable Forest Initiative” with FSC China, committing to environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable production and consumption practices.
